Armtrac Ltd attended the Exhibition and Trials at the NATO EOD Centre of Excellence (COE) in Trencin, Slovakia from 30 Sep – 2 Oct 14. This was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the Armtrac 20T demining Robot, its new remote controlled Small (Heavy) Unmanned Ground Vehicle, on field trials with other demining Robots – See the Picture Gallery from the NATO EOD COE Website https://www.eodcoe.org/news/eod-events/picture-gallery-2014 [Line 10 Image 3 and Line 11 Images 2 & 3].
Not only did the Armtrac 20T demonstrate its flexibility and versatility over obstacles on the course but it was able to show its ability to retrieve suspect devices & ordnance from difficult locations and place them into a restricted space within a bomb container.
