Armtrac 20T C-IED Robot Mk2 - Unmanned Ground Vehicle

This is a cost-effective and flexible choice for those looking for a small, crewless ground clearance vehicle. A remote-controlled vehicle that can be fitted with a range of tools and attachments, such as a tiller or flail.

The machine has a rear robotic arm that can be fitted with various attachments to meet your needs and suit different operational environments. The 20T has a 74 HP diesel water-cooled Kohler engine, which can operate for several hours without the need to refuel.

Although this machine is designed for demining explosive ordnance up to 3 Kg (Explosive NEQ) which includes all anti-personnel mines, when fitted with a Rotary Mine Comb (RMC) it can extract anti-vehicle mines out of the ground and up to the surface for subsequent EOD disposal. Armtrac is one of the few suppliers worldwide to manufacture the RMC.

The 20T is fitted with hydraulic hoses, couplings and replacement parts easily sourced from international part suppliers. This demining machine is ideal for use for:

  • Conventional Demining & EO Clearance Operations
  • Counter-IED Operations
  • Mechanical demining where there is restricted access for larger mechanical equipment
  • Mechanical Surrogate Scout for Dismounted Foot Patrols
  • Small clearance operations & area reduction
  • Support to C-IED operations
  • Support to Route Clearance operations
  • Surface/Sub-surface IED Disposal
  • Technical Survey and EO Reconnaissance
  • Vegetation cutting before manual or canine-assisted demining

Armtrac 75t-230

If you are looking for a middle-of-the-range, all-round and practical demining machine, then this is a good choice for you. This machine is smaller in size than our Amtrac 400, but still has all the advantages and flexibility offered by its larger sibling.

This machine has a hydraulically operated 2.2 meter Tiller Rotor that can clear an average of 1100 square meters per hour to a depth of 35cm. You can also fit a flail to the 75t-230, making it a very flexible choice when faced with clearing different terrains. Built to destroy and withstand 10kg Anti-Tank mines, the 75T is fully remote-controlled up to 800 meters.

The vehicle can also be fitted with a fully armoured, soundproofed and air-conditioned cabin for manual operation if you prefer. The cabin can tilt forward to allow easy access to the engine, hydraulics & electrics for ease of maintenance.

It is fitted with a telescopic boom to which different clearance toolkits can be attached, such as a tiller and flail. You can fit it with the Armtrac Mine Comb or Armtrac Sifter, which gives you great flexibility for clearing land that presents different challenges.
