Mine Clearance at Armtrac

Our machinery has so many different attachments that they can be used in C-IED, EOD,heavy engineering/construction and agriculture too.
Because Armtrac equipment is designed with quick hitch couplings to attach any toolkit, they can perform a variety of roles from a single platform. This makes them very cost effective because you only need one platform for multiple functions.
C-IED. The C-IED Mine Roller system used with the A100-350 is a typical example of Armtrac’s adaptability. The same roadworthy vehicle can be used for Explosive Ordnance (EO)clearance if an explosive device is triggered by the roller but equally it can be fitted with buckets, fork lifts or and excavator to carry out Vehicle Bourne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) removal if a suspect vehicle is blocking safe passage. Armtrac also manufactures grapples and manipulators suitable for investigation of suspect IEDs and can fit detection suites, such as Ground Probing Radar (GPR), and disruptors to its platforms.
EOD. Access to buried EO is an important part of EOD and Armtrac equipment uses heavy engineering toolkits on its armoured vehicles to dig out and excavate inaccessible UXO. In the recovery phase of EOD, the same equipment is suitable for removing and extracting neutralised UXO for its final disposal.
Heavy Engineering and Construction. Scrape Buckets and Excavators are often used in the construction industry and the same equipment can be used for creating mitigation trenches for bulk UXO disposal. They can be used to clear ground and to dig holes effectively and efficiently. Fork lift tines are used extensively in farming for moving equipment around more simply.
The Flail and Tiller are used in both demining and on suspect areas, such as military ranges,for clearing dense vegetation.
