On 8th March, with the participation of the Acting Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Andrii Danyk, the handover of the attachment module for the Armtrac 400 mechanized demining machine took place.
The equipment was donated by Armtrac Ltd (based in UK) with the logistical support of the "Help a Child" Charitable Foundation. The attachment will be mounted on the largest and most efficient Armtrac 400 demining machine in its class.

Currently, the Armtrac 400 is operated by the Interregional Center of Humanitarian Demining and Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Starting in 2022, this machine has been demining the de-occupied Ukrainian territories (mainly in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions).
The manufacturer has designed a new generation working tiller tool that must withstand multiple detonations of "layered" (triple stacked) anti-tank mines.
As the acting head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine noted, the improvement of the mechanized demining machine will help save the lives of deminers, who are constantly at risk of being blown up by mines during work, as well as the lives of civilians. "And most importantly, it will increase the efficiency and speed of demining operations in Ukraine,"Andrii Danyk emphasized.
