One used refurbished A400 with Tiller and Flail has been procured by the State of Emergency Service Ukraine (DSNS) to be operated on the many minefields currently existing in Ukraine following Russian occupation. This version has an armoured cabin for direct control but a remote control is offered with the equipment to operate from a safe distance. Training took place in Ukraine for a small number of students 18 – 22 Oct 22 and now the machine is being used operationally.
There are plans to purchase further A400s over the next few months.
There is also an Armtrac A20T Mk2 in Ukraine with HALO Trust which is currently conducting trials with its Rotary mine Comb.
